Fewer requests, reviews and conversions for customers to handle
Accessing credit, securing better loan terms and spending digital assets can involve separate requests or transactions. Financial providers are handling more of these steps within their services, connecting investment holdings to card limits, reviewing borrowers automatically and processing crypto conversions during payment.
Brazil-based BTG Pactual lets clients use eligible invested funds as collateral to set credit limits on its Gold, Platinum and Black credit cards. Clients can access credit while keeping those holdings invested. The arrangement connects their investment portfolio with their borrowing capacity, subject to the bank’s eligibility rules and terms.
South Korea’s Jeju Bank reviews credit loan customers’ financial status every month and automatically lowers interest rates for those who qualify. Borrowers can receive improved terms without submitting a separate request. Regular reassessment becomes part of the bank’s service.
Mesh’s integration with Visa lets people pay with cryptocurrency or stablecoins at more than 175 million merchants. Conversion takes place within the payment process, removing the need for customers to convert their assets to cash separately before paying. The change makes existing digital holdings easier to use for purchases.
