Platforms add structure to advice, chats and feedback

Platforms are making professional advice bookable, community discussions searchable and relationship feedback more structured. Each service gives an existing exchange a defined process, with different rules governing participation and access.

LinkedIn offers Advice Sessions to invited Premium Business subscribers in the United States. Eligible hosts can set a price and availability for one-to-one consultations through their profiles, with integrated scheduling and payments processed through Stripe. Customers must have verified profiles and be based in the US.

Discord plans to make some new messages from public channels in Discoverable Servers visible on web pages and in search results from mid-December 2026. Administrators control which channels participate, while members control whether their messages appear. Messages sent before the rollout, private servers and direct messages are excluded.

InnerVue offers structured feedback for dating and relationships. Participants complete a self-assessment and invite people who know them, including friends, family and former partners, to provide anonymous observations. The results let participants compare their self-perception with feedback from their personal relationships.
