Franklin Ozekhome is a pop culture strategist, cultural intelligence expert and one of Africa’s leading voices on Afropop culture, consumer futures, fandom and platform behaviour. His work tracks the shifts shaping identity, belonging and influence across African and global youth culture.
He is Founder of Pop Culture Varsity and Co-Founder/Chief Strategy Officer at Maskvrade, an Afropop cultural intelligence and foresight company. Through Maskvrade, he helps brands understand how African culture moves across youth communities, digital platforms and the global African diaspora, then translate that intelligence into product, positioning, partnerships and market strategy.
Franklin has curated and published dozens of insight reports on youth futures, emerging consumers and culture-tech shifts across Africa. He teaches Trends Analytics at Orange Academy, and has delivered keynotes and strategy sessions on future trends, pop culture, AI, and Africa’s changing systems of influence. He is currently Executive Vice President, Strategy & Innovation at Chain Reactions Africa, helping shape its next phase across strategy, intelligence, creative transformation and market innovation.
