That belief has guided Yoris Sebastian's work for more than two decades, blending trend intelligence, creativity, storytelling and execution.
He helps organizations across Asia transform emerging insights into meaningful products, services and experiences. Yoris believes innovation is never finished when an idea is created. It is only successful when people choose to embrace it.
Curiosity has been the driving force behind his unconventional journey. It first led him to become a teenage journalist, then the youngest General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe in Asia Pacific (leading Jakarta, Bali and Seoul), before founding one of Indonesia's pioneering innovation consultancies. In 2006, he received the British Council International Young Creative Entrepreneur Award in London.
Unlike many trend experts who primarily observe trends, Yoris has spent much of his career creating them. His work includes I Like Monday, a pioneering live music platform that reshaped Indonesia's café music culture, and creating the world's first business book with a hand-colored cover - an achievement recognized by the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI), years before adult coloring became a global publishing trend.
Today, Yoris works with organizations that don't just want to understand what's next, but want to become part of what comes next.
