AI x Trend Analyst

We here at TrendWatching are an international, dynamic and highly purposed team that guides, inspires and empowers business professionals to bring to market more sustainable and impactful innovations that benefit all, not the few.

The AI x Trend Analyst role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious trend professional with a few years of work experience to work directly with TrendWatching's core team and Founder on building out our new AI-driven services.

Think sourcing, generating, analysing and curating vast amounts of trend intelligence with the help of the latest AI tools and apps, as well as ideating with the intel.

It's a role that (obviously!) requires an understanding and love of consumer trends, of B2C innovations, and yes, an obsession with all things AI.

You'll partly learn by doing and your contributions will be seen and applied instantly by many of the world's leading B2C brands and NGOs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to expand our AI-driven trend content research, curation, writing and ideating, overseeing multiple projects at once

  • Deeply think with the business and its future from an AI-first mindset


    YOUR PROFILE

  • A few years into your trend career and ready to become a tastemaker, curator, and architect of AI-driven services within a nearly-autonomous intel and ideation eco-system

  • Purpose-led: passionate about sustainability, equality, and business as a force for good — with AI as a key enabler

  • Actively using AI tools to supercharge your research and creative output — and staying ahead of the curve

  • Energized, resourceful, ready to work hard (yes, AI increases workload before it reduces it)

  • Excellent command of English

DETAILS

  • Start date: immediately
  • Hours: full-time, initially project-based
  • Location: the Netherlands — preferably in or near Amsterdam
  • Compensation: freelance (please understand that we are currently investing, so fees are entry-level)
