Corruptour — Mexico City sightseeing tour takes in corruption sites
Running in Mexico City from February 2017, the Corruptour sightseeing tour takes in 10 locations that represent some the country’s worst corruption scandals, including President Enrique Peña Nieto’s ‘White House’, the headquarters of the Mexican Institute of Social Security and 222 Paseo de la Reforma, the headquarters of construction firm OHL. The free Corruptour tours run every Sunday on an old school bus, and at each stop an audio-guide, featuring two fictional characters, introduces the property and explains its significance. Volunteer guides are also on hand to encourage debate and discussion. The Corruptour concept was first introduced in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in 2014.
