LIVSN Designs, an Arkansas-based outdoor apparel brand, recently launched its latest product on Kickstarter, where it promptly reached its funding goal well ahead of the deadline later this month. The Century Jacket is a craftsman-style garment designed for everyday use across various conditions and is constructed entirely from natural materials. According to LIVSN, it's designed to last 100 years.
The jacket's exterior shell is made from organic Ventile, a WWII-era cotton weave that's extremely durable and naturally water-repellent. Lined with moisture-wicking silk, it features lightweight insulation made of ethical wool. Available in olive green and blackish navy, the jacket is pre-selling for USD 439, with delivery expected in December 2023. LIVSN is confident enough in the product's quality that it's offering free lifetime repairs. The Century Jacket is the brand's fourth successful Kickstarter campaign.
