Kraft Peanut Butter is covering the cost of EpiPens

People with anaphylactic allergies to peanuts are recommended to have epinephrine injection pens with them wherever they go. But those pens aren’t cheap, and often aren’t fully covered by health insurance. Which is why Kraft Canada is jumping in to help offset the cost.

Through 22 February 2022, Canadian residents can go to Protection for Peanuts to claim reimbursement from Kraft for an epinephrine auto-injector. They’ll receive up to CAD 120, minus whatever their insurance covers.

Trend Bite

A limited-time offer by Kraft Peanut Butter isn’t going to fix the high medication costs faced by people with chronic conditions. But brands can play a meaningful role in raising awareness — especially about issues connected to the products they sell. Which civic problem can your organization shine a spotlight on? Like Kraft, get specific and offer both your platform and practical assistance.
